The Walking Dead Spinoffs Are Too Afraid To Kill Off Major Characters

Since the main series finish , The Walking Deadfranchise has been too afraid to kill off any of its main characters . The two spinoffs may have had compelling storey and great entertainment , but they still lacked serious endangerment . Dead Cityfocused on Maggie and Negan having to unite to try and rescue Maggie ’s son . This made the drama and tension between the characters even well give their chronicle , but the stake were still fairly depleted . Maggie and Negan are too crucial to stamp out in a spinoff , especially with confirmation thatThe Walking Dead : Dead City ’s story will continue in season 2 .

Daryl Dixonsuffered a similar problem . Daryl is well one of the most democratic characters in the full franchise , making the idea of him being killed in France and off from the main mathematical group unlikely . Although Daryl ’s death seems even less plausible than either Maggie ’s or Negan’s , Daryl Dixonwas well thanDead Cityat building its surrounding characters which could have large conditional relation . Dead Citykilled off plenty of its supporting casting , but they did n’t find important , whereasDaryl Dixonmade its characters count more . This does lead to the possibility of Daryl potentially settling in France , but the concept of any main characters dying in a spinoff is still far - fetched .

Rick And Michonne Will Almost Certainly Survive The Ones Who Live

give Rick and Michonne ’s grandness to the series , The Walking Deadspinoffs look certain to continue their mistake as both fiber will likely survive inThe Ones Who Live . Michonne ’s season 10 departure fromThe Walking Deadmeans that outside her finale cameo , it will have been nearly three old age aside from the franchise by the timeThe Ones Who Livesairs . Even more importantly , the series agonist , Rick Grimes , has been go since 2018 make any vexer of the character being killed unlikely . With both characters number back and star in the spinoff , there is almost no chance either of them will be killed off .

The Walking Deadhas slowed down on full-grown lineament deaths in recent years , which recent spinoffs have accent . Even if the franchise did want a big death , neither Rick nor Michonne would make much sentience . It has been so long since they have had a major use in the story and if either were to snuff it , it would conduct to controversy and frustration , something the show already had to deal with after Carl ’s last . Although the two survivingThe Ones Who inhabit isthe most legitimate and potential move , it does meanThe Walking Deadwill continue the trend of their main characters surviving the spinoffs , which may become predictable and tiresome .
