As she explains , the first story is about two Wolf , Hati and Skoll , dog after the Lord’s Day and the moon . As Sakhno key it , the story " has this incessant cps of chase " that " ponder the passing nature of life sentence and the coexistence of oppose force play . “Unsurprisingly , Filoni chose to name these character after the two wolves . Both are chasing something . Baylan Skoll is chasing the gods of Mortis - avatar of the panorama of the Force . What Shin is give chase is more obscure , but it is clear that she is trying to find her place .

Ivanna Sakhno’s Interpretation Of Balance Fits Well With Peridea
Sakhno enamor this " co - being of opposing forces , " as she call it , perfectly in her portrayal of Shin . Not only does Shin mirror her light - side counterpart , Sabine Wren , but she also has a duality within herself . This is establish through the expression on her face when Ahsoka offer to aid her . There is a clear conflict in her face as she struggles with being who she believes she should be - dismal and hefty - and the adept side of her . The side of her that longs for connection after being forsake and believes in honor is always in tautness with the side of her that craves power and greatness through any means necessary .

While Baylan Skoll will likely not return due to the inauspicious departure of actor Ray Stevenson , Shin could still run across the Mortis God . Given that the Mortis gods were badger at the end of episode 8,Ahsokaseason 2 would likely feature a encounter between them and Ahsoka Tano , Sabine Wren , and Shin Hati .
