The exchanges Thrawn and Hera have throughoutStar Wars Rebelsare nothing short of scathing for each of them , as they rightfully do overreach one another meter and time again . By the end ofRebels , however , they still have grade to settle . Thrawn no doubt holds a grievance against Hera for her gang being responsible for his exile , and for Hera , it was because of Thrawn that Ezra had to disappear for so long . While Thrawn was n’t the one directly creditworthy forKanan Jarrus ' death , he was the one who had captured Hera in the first situation , thus have Kanan to be post in the position of sacrifice he was later on .
